Our History

Founded in 1895 as the Trou d'Eau Douce Government School, we have proudly served our community for over a century.

Named after the late Sir Pierre Dalais, a visionary dedicated to our village's welfare, we carry forward his commitment to education, evidenced by the library and children's park he gifted to our students.

Today, our school is a vibrant hub for 250 pupils, guided by 33 dedicated staff members. With 20 classrooms and a modern ICT room, we provide a nurturing environment for academic excellence. Our curriculum encompasses core subjects - Mathematics, English, French, Science, History, and Geography - alongside Hindi, Urdu, and Mauritian Creole.
